My favorite month of the year is September. First of all it is my birthday month. But even without that enticement I think the first cool air after a blazing hot summer would make September seem special. And the cookie flavors - SO FUN! Sunny in Seattle and Black Velvet are back. New kids include Cornmeal with Rosemary and Dried Fig, Green Tea Pistachio, and Cornmeal with Toasted Pecan. Salty Sesame is slated for a comeback. Just thinking about it makes me hungry. So if you haven't been in the bakery for awhile because it just seems to darn hot for baked goods, think again. Slide on those jeans, pull on a light sweater, and come visit. Virgo or not, I'd love to see you!
